O Lord, the message
I address to you in December, and because I am sure that you read it, but also and above all, because he wants to be a prayer for our community and this world so in need of you.
This month, as every year, will begin with the Novena of the Immaculate in which we will set the Triduum of St. Nicholas, owner of our parish. O Lord, help us to put our attention first on the tenderness that marked Mary in accepting and in looking after your mother. Spronaci in imitating because today the tenderness and sweetness has given way to harshness and insensitivity. Infuse also paternal generosity in our hearts and courageous St. Nicholas because everyone remembers what life has to be forgotten: a dispenser of gifts.
Certainly I did not forget about your Christmas, Lord. I left at the end because it comes later this month and then ... because you have the last word on everything. Your birth will help us do the cleaning! It is usually a New Year that you throw things old, ruined, useless ... Well, your Christmas will help us in this, from the heart to throw away all that is useless, what in us has aged, what is broken, grievances and points of pride that we are just bulky.
At Christmas, Lord, help us find space, because space is the only place that may not be messy. Help us, as in the restoration of S. Nicola, to remove the layers of hardened and non-original sin has superimposed upon us and bring out the treasure that is in each one.
O Lord, thank you for your patience and for your great kindness. Accompanies each day our community to be heaven on earth and protect it from harm. Amen. Don Angelo
